At TwinCounsel, we know that for a law firm, data isn't just an asset—it's a responsibility. You need to know exactly where your client's information goes, who can access it, and how our AI works with your files.

This policy outlines your rights and our commitments.

Let's be clear about ownership:

The #1 concern of attorneys is that confidential information could be used to train AI systems. Here's our commitment:

• We DO NOT use your data to train AI models for other customers.
• We DO NOT allow client information to enter any shared knowledge base.
• We DO learn your preferences locally—if you correct our AI's tone, it learns for your account only.

We only touch what you explicitly allow.

• Read Access: We access emails, calendar events, and files only when relevant to matters you've assigned to TwinCounsel.
• Write Access: We never send an email or file a document without your explicit approval. You're always in control.

You're never locked in.

• Export: Export your data and any generated insights at any time.
• Deletion: When you delete a matter or cancel your subscription, we securely delete your data from our servers within 30 days.
